My mom, until recently, was a waitress for like 10 or 15 years or something insane. I'd be a terrible waiter because if I was in a hurry I'd have no patience for the people who are like "umm I have no idea what I am in the mood for" even though it had been like 20 minutes since they sat down. I'm a pretty simple guy who goes into any restaurant and has an idea of what I want and if not I can spot it in no more than 2 or 3 minutes on the menu.
The newest book I've picked up and began reading is called "Waiter Rant." It is about all of the intersting moments this individual had during his time as a waiter. So far it has been a great read and I'm looking forward to reading through it and finishing it by Saturday evening. I'll let you know how it goes!
It sounds like a good book! I know when I worked at McDonald's I dealt with some pretty crazy customers.
